![]() In-Store Launch parties (in available regions only) and SpellTable Launch Parties: March 19–21. The Draft Pack (a packaging of three Draft Boosters) features Tarmogoyf key art. The boosters feature artwork from Serra Avenger, Sidewinder Sliver, and Stuffy Doll. These are the only sealed products available for the set - there are no Collector, Set, or Theme Boosters. Time Spiral Remastered will be sold in regular 16-card Draft Boosters (one card being a marketing card). The cards from the timeshifted sheet all have the same rarity. The timeshifted sheet doesn't contain any of the original timeshifted cards. Premium foil versions also have the "shooting star" watermark used on pre-Modern set foils. The timeshifted cards feature modern cards in a retro (pre-Modern) card frame and with a purple expansion symbol. The 121 timeshifted cards of this set are a specific selection of cards similar to the original Time Spiral "outside the set and outside of time" timeshifted cards. Main article: Time Spiral Remastered/Timeshifted The design of Time Spiral Remastered predates the digital Amonkhet Remastered and Kaladesh Remastered, and was mostly inspired by Tempest Remastered. Time Spiral Remastered is not featured on MTG Arena.Īlthough cards from the respective sets appear in Time Spiral Remastered, the Planar Chaos planeshifted or Future Sight futureshifted frames don't. As with the original Time Spiral set, each pack contains one timeshifted card. The set includes 289 cards from the Time Spiral block sets (121 commons, 100 uncommons, 53 rares, 15 mythic rares). It features fan favorites from Time Spiral, Planar Chaos, and Future Sight all distilled into one draft experience. Blue mana is nothing if not creative.Time Spiral Remastered is a new way to experience the Time Spiral block originally released in 2006-2007. Normally, Merfolk decks are almost entirely lands and creatures, but Talrand may inspire the player to run a few support spells after all, such as counterspells or bounce effects. Talrand can either go into a spell-heavy non-tribal deck or slot into a Merfolk deck with a few support spells to make those Drakes. With its Merfolk Wizard creature types, it fits into the Merfolk deck, but it synergizes best with instants an sorceries to make 2/2 flying Drake tokens, which are certainly not Merfolk. Talrand, Sky Summoner is an unusual case. Merfolk are slippery and unpredictable, after all. This allows it to hit the player for one, and make that player discard a card like the true trickster that it is. They may decline to block it, then Riptide Pilferer can turn face-up for just U. ![]() When it it attacks, the opponent might fear a huge creature emerging from Morph status. Riptide Pilferer is a small but tricky Merfolk, having Morph so it can hit the battlefield as a generic 2/2 creature. Even if Time Spiral Remastered's Sliver tribe only has one other color, this tribe is already in good hands with these white Slivers. Then, there's Pulmonic Sliver, a 3/3 that grants flying to all Slivers and the ability to return to the library's top upon death. Time Spiral Remastered is all about the past, alternate present and future all crashing together, creating chaos. Poultice Sliver will regenerate its fellow Slivers, despite the fact that Wizards of the Coast has largely abandoned the regenerate effect in favor of indestructible. RELATED: Magic: The Gathering - The Colleges of Strixhaven, Explained This means Slivers will have nothing to fear from creatures with one power. Lymph Sliver grants absorb 1 to all Slivers, so if a Sliver takes damage, one point of that damage is prevented, such as from combat damage or burn spells like Lightning Bolt. Lymph Sliver is an example of how, like the complex original Time Spiral block, this set has a rich variety of mechanics and keywords in it - which might throw new players for a loop. These creatures are more loyal to their tribe than they are to any player. If the opponent happens to have a Sliver, then Sinew Sliver will give it +1/+1 too. Players should note that Slivers benefit all current Slivers, not just those controlled by the same player. Sinew Sliver is a simple but effective two-drop, giving all Slivers +1/+1. So far, all of Time Spiral Remastered's previewed Slivers are in white mana, but given this tribe's nature, it's likely that more Slivers will appear in at least one other color for games of Limited, or even all five colors. ![]() For years now, the five-color Sliver tribe has been all about big board states and diverse abilities, since these Slivers all pump each other with a fantastic variety of effects: power/toughness boosting, hexproof, trample, haste, lifelink, regeneration and more. The Sliver tribe has a serious reputation among experienced Magic players, and novice players will soon learn what all the fuss is about. ![]()
